Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing, or using the Anwaar ul Furqaan mobile application (available on Google Play, package ID: com.alhafeeztrust.anwarulfurqaan) or accessing the associated website, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our services.
Free & Non-Commercial
Anwaar ul Furqaan is provided completely free of charge by Al Hafeez Trust as a non-commercial educational service for the benefit of Muslims worldwide.
Description of Service
Anwaar ul Furqaan provides the following features entirely free of charge:
- ✓Complete Holy Quran in Arabic (Uthmani script)
- ✓Verse-by-verse Urdu and English translations
- ✓Detailed Tafseer (commentary) in Urdu and English
- ✓Per-ayah audio recitation by Sheikh Mishary Rashid Alafasy
- ✓Per-ayah Tafseer audio and Translation audio
- ✓Surah index audio and author preface
- ✓30 Juz (Parah) navigation
- ✓Ebook / print-to-PDF view for all surahs
We reserve the right to add, modify, or discontinue any feature at any time without prior notice.
Permitted Use
You are granted a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use Anwaar ul Furqaan for lawful, personal, and non-commercial purposes. You agree to:
Personal Learning
Use the app for personal Quran study, recitation, and learning.
Educational Sharing
Share app content for educational, religious, or non-commercial purposes with proper attribution to Tafseer Anwaar ul Furqaan.
Offline Access
Cache content locally on your device for offline reading where the app supports it.
Prohibited Activities
You must not use Anwaar ul Furqaan or its content for any of the following:
- ✕Commercial resale, sublicensing, or monetisation of app content without written permission
- ✕Scraping, crawling, or automated bulk downloading of API data or audio files
- ✕Reverse engineering, decompiling, or modifying the application
- ✕Misrepresenting or distorting Quranic text, translations, or tafseer content
- ✕Using the app in a manner that violates any applicable local, national, or international law
- ✕Attempting to gain unauthorised access to our servers or infrastructure
- ✕Impersonating Al Hafeez Trust or any of its representatives
- ✕Distributing malware, spam, or harmful content via any channel associated with the app
Intellectual Property
All content within Anwaar ul Furqaan — including but not limited to the tafseer commentary, translations, audio recordings, app design, and branding — is the intellectual property of Al Hafeez Trust or its licensors unless otherwise stated.
Quranic Text
The Arabic Quran text (Uthmani script) is in the public domain as a religious scripture. We make no copyright claim over the divine text itself.
Tafseer & Commentary
The Urdu/English tafseer content of Tafseer Anwaar ul Furqaan is copyright © Al Hafeez Trust. You may quote it for educational purposes with attribution.
Audio Recitation
Arabic recitation audio is provided by cdn.islamic.network under their terms. Tafseer and translation audio recordings are © Al Hafeez Trust.
App & Website
The app code, UI design, logos, and website are © Al Hafeez Trust. All rights reserved.
Disclaimer of Warranties
Anwaar ul Furqaan is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
- We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses.
- We make no warranty regarding the accuracy, completeness, or suitability of any content for a particular purpose.
- Audio content is subject to CDN availability and may be temporarily unavailable.
- The app is provided free of charge; accordingly, no implied warranty of merchantability applies.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Al Hafeez Trust shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation:
- Loss of data or content from your device
- Service interruptions or downtime
- Any reliance on the accuracy of translations or tafseer content
- Third-party service (CDN) failures or unavailability
Because the app is provided entirely free of charge and collects no personal data, our total liability to you in connection with these Terms shall not exceed zero (PKR 0 / USD 0).
Third-Party Platforms
Anwaar ul Furqaan is distributed through Google Play Store. When you download and use the app via Google Play, you are also subject to:
We are not responsible for any terms, policies, or actions of Google Play or any other third-party platform.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Pakistan.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable or invalid under applicable law, that provision shall be limited or eliminated to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
Changes to These Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. When we do, we will revise the Last Updated date at the top of this page. For material changes, we will endeavour to notify users via a notice in the app.
Your continued use of Anwaar ul Furqaan after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you disagree with the updated Terms, you should stop using the app.
